Short stories are rather taking a backseat with all this essay practice and french speaking, I'm finding actually sitting down and writing such a chore. I think my fingers have simply had enough.

Painting on the other hand has taken a rather impressive leap forward, well, not so much a leap as a fumbling jerk out of nothingness, but a start's a start. All I could find were watercolours so I ended up using them without water as just paints (yes I KNOW, cardinal sin, they're expensive you know etc.etc. but it made me happy, so what's the harm?). If I can manage to get good enough quality reproductions of them onto my computer I'll upload them later, feedback is always appreciated.

French Oral tomorrow, and Latin Unseen on the 15th - oh what joy and al the while revision is eating into my brain and removing any real spark I may once have possessed. I do however have a summer of drinking to regain it. I could do a piece on how the binge drinking culture is out of hand? But somehow that seems to me to be an English exam waiting to happen.

Hopefully I'll find something more interesting to post soon.
